Wealth Beyond Money Top 5
1) One Wealth Beyond Money Idea
If you are like me you may have trouble expressing the art that lives inside of you.
Let me share a shift in perspective that may help. If you are seeking external validation and approval from the world for whatever art you create you are missing the point.
Art is about giving form to the magic that is your unique subjective experience. It has very little to do with how someone may receive it or likes on social media. Art serves as a profound and intricate mode of self-expression, healing, and provides individuals with a unique and unrestricted channel to convey their thoughts, emotions, and perspectives.
Whether it's through painting, writing, music, or any other creative medium, art enables people to externalize their inner worlds, making tangible the intangible aspects of their consciousness.
This form of expression goes beyond the constraints of verbal communication, allowing for a deeper exploration and articulation of complex feelings, ideas, and experiences.
Through the strokes of a brush, the arrangement of words, or the melody of a composition, individuals can communicate their innermost selves, forging a bridge between their internal landscapes and the external world.
In this way, art becomes a vehicle for self-discovery, enabling individuals to understand, interpret, and share their unique perspectives with the world.
The act of creating art often leads to a profound sense of personal fulfillment. As individuals engage in the creative process, they experience a cathartic release and a heightened state of flow, losing themselves in the moment and connecting with a deeper sense of purpose.
The completed artwork serves not only as a tangible representation of their creative journey but also as a source of pride and accomplishment. Whether pursued professionally or as a hobby, the act of creating art fosters a sense of achievement and satisfaction, contributing to an individual's overall well-being and sense of identity.
Ultimately, art as a form of self-expression becomes a means for individuals to cultivate a more profound connection with themselves and find fulfillment in the creative exploration of their inner worlds.
2) One Thing I Read
Freedom from Illusion: The Book of Ego by Osho
Osho, also known as Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, was a spiritual teacher and mystic whose teachings gained international prominence in the late 20th century. The book delves into the intricate aspects of the human ego and explores the profound impact it has on individuals and society at large.
Osho, with his dynamic and controversial approach, encourages readers to transcend the limitations imposed by the ego in order to attain a state of higher consciousness and self-realization.
Through a blend of Eastern philosophy, psychology, and his unique insights, Osho challenges conventional beliefs and invites readers to embark on a journey of introspection and spiritual awakening.
3) One Thing I Heard
This ecstatic dance mix by DJ Ananda aka yours truly 😁 Ananda is Sanskrit आनन्द for divine joy and bliss.
An ecstatic dance is a dance ceremony designed to rediscover our emotional freedom in a space of complete trust and freedom of expression. Through dance and music, we experience dance as a meditation in motion in which we can deepen our self-knowledge.
Today, ecstatic dance continues to evolve, with a variety of practices and events around the world that cater to those seeking a more free-spirited and transformative dance experience. It contains elements of tribal, shamanic, and world music influenced by the new global electronic music of festivals like Burning Man. It's often associated with the idea of using dance as a form of personal and communal healing, self-discovery, and spiritual exploration.
The plan is to host ecstatic dance events first locally and then whenever I travel. If this type of event is for you let me know and if I am in your part of the world let’s get our dance on!
4) One Quote
The role of the artist is exactly the same as the role of the lover. If I love you, I have to make you conscious of the things you don’t see - James Baldwin
5) One Question For You
How can my art in any form be a vehicle for greater self-awareness and fulfillment?
