Feels great to be back in Mexico City after a few friend and family filled weeks in Texas. This former New Yorker can scratch his big-city, cosmopolitan itch here very easily.
The week before my trip I was feeling a mix of melancholy and excitement: melancholy that comes from leaving the familiar behind and excitement for the unfamiliar and uncertainty that lies ahead. Uncertainty is a part of life and getting comfortable with it has been hugely helpful in becoming resilient when things don’t go my way.
Every Friday I share one lifestyle design idea, something that inspired me, and one question for my readers.
Ready for this week’s edition? Here we go…
One Lifestyle Design Idea From Me
Take Action.
You can learn what riding a bike is like from a video or book but you can’t learn how to ride a bike for yourself without taking action.
Watching someone ride a bike is also not as fun as riding it yourself. Of course bike riding involves the risk of falling off but with some safety precautions in place that risk can be mitigated leaving you with most of the benefits.
The same is true about the information you consume off or online.
It’s very easy to feel well informed but by not taking action you are actually robbing yourself of valuable growth, insider information, and learning opportunities.
One Thing That Inspired Me
A quote this week: Tension is who think you should be, relaxation is who you are.
One Question For My Readers
When and where am I showing up with tension or anxiety in my life?
Any comments, questions, or thoughts from you the reader are always welcomed.
Until Next Week. Happy week ahead!

Tension is who think you should be, relaxation is who you are. - Genius!
love this one E. i think something i'm trying to be more comfortable with is living in the tension. how can i strive to be better without as much self flagellation? but not get complacent at the same time...
